1. I saw things on other peopple's power point that I had forgotten were Roman derived...like the numerals on the clock.
2.Probably the colusseum....seing as pretty much EVERYONE had the same picture from out in the hallway.
3. That's hard.......um the Chris and Jason probably-only because they were brave enough to go first
Self Reflection:
1. I learned how many things in our everyday life originally were influenced by Ancient Rome.
2. I think what I did especially well on this project was thinking of the unordinary things others wouldn't find, such as the alphabet on the keyboards in school.
3. I think I could have been a little more organized, or have put more information on the slides.
Peer Review:
3. I learned how putting more information in the slide, whether it is obvious or not, makes the slides more interesting.
4. Ben Spinelli's hair and Chris Florek's hair because they were the most used in the slides.
5. I think that Erica Liu's presentation was the best because she explained all the slides, and labeled the ancient examples she used if they were a certain famous site. She also had the most variety of pictures. Very different from everyone elses.
Sue Sriharan....this is posted as Echo because I use this account for my english class too.
1. I didn't realize how much stuff was preserved. I knew that most of Europe was based on the Roman Empire, because at the height of the Roman Empire, the Roman Empire was pretty much equivalent to Europe. And, of course, that America was based on that small piece pf Europe known as the UK. I just didn't realize how good Romans were at Empires. The stuff that's still there-- buildings, fountains, aqueducts, statues, art.
2. I think my pictures of Roman things were especially good because I got them from grove art online instead of from google images.
3. I think that my own pictures could have been better, illustrated what I meant them to depict. The quality of my photos was half were really good, half were okay. My presentation could have been louder as well, and more engaging.
4. I really liked how Ashley and Emma used animation. I always just put photographs, and the waving flag is more interesting.
5. The people photographs, like Emma's belt or Ben Spinelli's hair. Maybe equating this with people that I actually am acquainted with made it stick more.
6. I liked "Roamns Control your Minds." Or 'your lifes', maybe? Anyway, what does stick out in my flawed, prematurely aging memory is the presentation, not actually the powerpoint (sorry.) The presentation was really good because it was interesting, and had an unexpected angle.
